Every Liberty Safe is predrilled for bolt-down security and can be activated by installing Liberty's optional ANCHORING KIT (designed for both wood or cement floors).
BENEFITS of BOLT-DOWN SECURITY
Lag bolting the safe to the floor (wood or cement) increases the security of the safe tremendously. Without leverage, it is virtually impossible to pry open a safe door when the safe is upright.
It also prevents a thief from stealing the safe to gain unlimited access to breach its security.
Lag bolting provides a stable foundation to prevent tipping when door is opened and when heavy valuables are placed on the door.
The ANCHORING KIT requires additional tools for proper installation.
